WHAT: "We LOVE Animals" Workshop for Kids (age 7-9 years) BOOKED

WHEN: July 17, 2013 – Wednesday - Noon till 3:00 pm

WHERE: Jean Wenner Studio

HOW MUCH: Cost: $30 per student (Includes ALL art supplies) (Payment by personal check or PayPal).

WHAT ELSE: Workshop limited to 10 young artists (The roster for this workshop will consist of the first ten names with email address signed in the comments section of this post... extra names will be added in order on waiting list.) 

This drawing and painting lesson teaches children that drawing animals like dogs,  
cats, turtles, fish, bunnies, etc is a matter of drawing shapes. The children will have a blast as they paint their favorite animals and/or their pets.

Emphasis will be placed on the art elements of line, color,  composition, and shape. Young artists will learn:

• Shape based drawing techniques.
• Composition.
• Primary and Secondary Colors and their applications.
• Mixing colors.

ALL workshops (except plein air locations) will be held in the Jean Wenner Studio at the Council for the Arts, 826 New Bridge Street, Jacksonville, NC 28540... Just across the street from the "Freedom Fountain."
