Summer Workshops limited to adult classes this summer...

I am sorry to announce that I will only be teaching workshops to my adult classes this year. Most of my adult classes are put on hold during the school year as I teach youths so I decided to cater to them with the limited time I have this summer. Thanks for your understanding.

Dear HGTA art buddies...

This will be the first of three acrylic painting workshops I offer this summer (1 in June and 2 in August) to my regular HGTA atists. Same price with materials included.

The first workshop is set for FRIDAY, JUNE 24th from 9am until Noon at the Jenner Wenner Studio at the CFTA. I will be available for critiques at 8:30 am. The topic will be Negative Space Painting.

There will be 10 spots available for each workshop so please sign up on the official Facebook post created for this event.

Bernie Rosage studied under John Ebersberger this summer giving his art students a direct artistic lineage to the "Father of Impressionism," Claude Monet.

Ebersberger was a student of Henry Hensche. Henshe's teacher was Charles Webster Hawthorne, founder of the Cape Cod School of Art. Chase  studied with William Merritt Chase. Chase was Monet's contemporary and considered the Father of American Impressionism.

Due to some unforeseen projects requiring my full attention plus restructure of the Arts Council I regret that I will not be teaching any children's workshops this summer. Seems there is not enough time this summer to get it all done before I go back to work. Thanks for all your years of support and your current understanding.... Bernie

How Great Thou Art Fall/Winter Classes

To my dear HGTA ARTSY friends... Thank you for your dedication and patience with putting up with my first month of teaching high school. I missed you all during our break in September (even though I have been SO busy with school) and look forward to painting with you all in October. I will post our schedule on a month to month basis but plan to stick as closely to our HGTA#1 First Friday at 5pm and our HGTA#2 on the Third Fridays at 5pm. Below you will find our new roster due to some of our members not being able to make the new "evening" time frame. We also gained a few new artists!

Dear parents and grandparents... As the summer workshop series ends, I want to thank you for another successful year of art. Thank you for your loyal support and allowing me another great summer teaching your young artists. You have not only been loyal patrons to me, you have proved yourselves loyal patrons of the arts. You know the value of art in the lives of your children and the important impact it has on our society as a whole.
