“How Great Thou ART” is a beginners acrylic painting class where no experience is necessary. The class is designed and taught by Bernie for those adults who know there is an artist within them who needs a little instruction and encouragement to emerge. This class, although not a “Sunday School” class per say, is based on biblical scripture….

Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable... if anything is excellent or praiseworthy... think about such things.

The qualities mentioned in Philippians 4:8 are the driving force behind each painting lesson. How knows… maybe we’ll share some scripture, talk about inspiration, listen to a little K-LOVE, and create a masterpiece…

Classes are approx. three hours long and limited in size to 10 adults… call Bernie and reserve your spot today!


WHAT: “How Great Thou ART” acrylic painting class for beginners taught by artist/instructor, Bernie Rosage Jr. Intermediate artists will find the class encouraging and interesting as well.

WHERE: The Jean Wenner Studio, Council for the Arts Building, 826 New Bridge Street, Jacksonville, NC 28540 (across from Jacksonville City Hall).

WHEN: HGTA Class #1 and HGTA Class #2 classes are consolidated until further notice due to Bernie's work schedule. Since BOTH classes are BOOKED... Rosters will be determined through our Facebook Group page.

WHY: Everyone has an artist hiding within them… we want that artist to emerge... PLUS... we can always use a positive encouraging environment to flourish in. The goal of “How Great Thou ART” is to promote and exercise "Creativity for the Creator" through our artwork and our actions!

HOW MUCH: The cost is $25 per person/per class which includes all art materials to create your work of art! For those artists who wish to supply their own art supplies the cost is only $20 per class. Payment can be made to Bernie in advance via personal check or safe/secure online payment through PayPal. Payment can also be collected the day of class (cash or check) but students must register in advance.

WHAT ELSE: Class size is limited to 10 adults. Call your friends, mention this to your Life Group and Sunday School classes, etc... but do not forget to contact Bernie to register for this special art class.
